I live in Adelaide, South Australia - right down near the bottom of the country - an am crazy-passionate about writing for children. On the 26 of this month I'm going to a workshop to be held by successful local author Katrina Germein. She's recommended participants read your blog beforehand. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to give your perspective. I think you should do a fair amount of research to make sure that you are only sending to the types of agents that represent the kind of work you hope to get. Agents will turn you down and give you reasons - be careful that you don't change your life based on what someone else says. Twilight was turned down around 16 or 18 times by different agents. I made a video about reps too some of this applies to authors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj-rcy_HSfYWill Terryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16227970662992011469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558633592606222881.post-34068351351188281452013-05-13T08:10:39.081-06:002013-05-13T08:10:39.081-06:00Wonderful breakdown of the process.
