iPad doodling - Photoshop finish


I've been working on this little iPad sketch on and off for the past few weeks. Whenever I'm in a meeting or a doctor's appointment I relax while sketching - amazing at how the time passes when your working on something you like. I've always wanted to own a cabin on a lake - perhaps it will happen for me some day.


I wasn't happy with the mountain I drew in the background so I replaced it in photoshop with a photo.


I emailed my sketch to my desktop and added color in Photoshop. I love the work I get to do for clients as well as the little bits of time I'm able to grab for personal work.

      Thanks Claudio - it's 1024-768 - not very big - that's why I like to enlarge it in photoshop and give it color.

      Thanks Katie! Me too - I've stayed in plenty of cabins in the rockies...I think I'm drawn to the simple life.

      Thanks Dana - I was thinking evening when I worked the colors - I channeled some of the back packing trips I've been on in the High Uintas.

    Can you imagine living here and waking up to that breath-taking view? Your work is very impressive.

    Is the learning curve large on the IPad? I have been going back and forth on my decision to get one. I can't afford something like a Cintiq yet, but I was thinking this could be a decent substitute until I could... What do you think?

    I included shade in Photoshop. I love the perform I get to do for customers as well as the little pieces of time I'm able to pick up for personal perform.
