Stuck In DC From Sandy...with iPad

Just updating since I have no idea when I'll be able to get back home. To my students at BYU and UVU - keep working on your assignments I probably won't see you until next week.

To those planning to attend the Missouri SCBWI event - I'm trying to get a flight directly to Missouri so just know that I'm doing all that I can to get there for this weekend.

My plans to finish the beginner level Photoshop course before this weekend have been put on hold but I'll get it finished next week if all goes well.

Being stuck with the iPad is a pretty good way to be stuck...so long as the power stays on....

Back to work on projects...

What a storm!!!!

  3. Her winds have been pushing us Canadian folks around tonight...my thoughts are with the people whom got fragmented from their friend and family and the shore line folks who have been asked to leave their homes.

  9. Will, Thank you so much for making the colossal effort to get to the St. Louis SCBWI conference. I enjoyed your presentations immensely. I love your illustrations and your tutorials. I am so excited to be a children's book illustrator at such a pivotal time. I plan on taking advantage of all the new technology available.

  10. Thank you all!!! - I made it home safe and sound and had a wonderful time in DC and in St. Louis @SCBWI! I met many wonderful and talented authors and illustrators and the coordinators were extremely friendly, hardworking, and devoted - THANK YOU!...and thank all of you for your concern - I didn't experience anything like those north of us in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York.
