Sometimes when I'm hiking in the middle of the day I have to pinch myself that I'm not stuck in some cubicle all day. Some of my best book ideas have come when I'm on my walks and years ago I lost some of those ideas because I had nothing to jot them down on. Now I always take a small sketchbook with me.
